peter michael witt attended a course in painting with the artist lothar schall during his studies in the humanities 1983. during a 10-day workshop in apt, southern france, the following large-format paintings were created one afternoon on a solo excursion into nature devoid of humans. water, colours, light, movements and naturally emerging forms reflect the energies of individual landscape elements that the artist had in his sights while painting.
