peter michael witt started making music in the early 90s in the postpunk/grunge band soilent green, which he founded in düsseldorf. in the mid 90s he also became interested in electronic music production and released his partly experimental, partly pop-oriented music under the name krautelectronics on the platform
last.fm. in 2009 he founded the electronic band rhein together with jürgen krause and johannes rix, which has released three albums on the düsseldorf label hauch records. since 2019 he has been working on his music-philosophical sound project onroda and released the album schlauch in 2021, also on hauch records.
