krautelectronics

krautelectronics was peter michael witt’s first electronic music project. he experimented with sounds and genres in his home studio and thus roamed through musical worlds ranging from avant-garde to industrial to pop, very diverse, but also a bit erratic, published over several years at the music platform last.fm (no longer playable). in the late 00s to the 10s, he performed several live film soundtracks under the name krautelectronics, including „la coquille et le clergyman“ by germaine dulac (2013 together with guitarist rolf springer), followed by a compilation of short films by david lynch (2016) and a self-assembled collage of found footage on the theme of „weltangst – vertonte verschwörungstheorien“ (2016 „world fear – conspiracy theories set to music“).
