soilent green was a punkrock/postpunk/grunge band in düsseldorf, who mainly stayed in their rehearsal room in ronsdorfer straße between 1990 and 2011 and only had a few gigs in the city. band members were werner heidenreich (bass, vocals), horst halfmann (drums) and peter michael witt (guitar, synthie, vocals). apart from recordings of their rehearsals and some demo tapes made in the former studio of andi thoma (mouse on mars), no recordings of this band have survived. peter michael witt released a small compilation of their songs under the title „yellow„ on bandcamp.com.
